In an effort to celebrate Niles West school spirit, the winter spirit week themes have been announced for the days of Monday Dec. 9 through Friday, Dec. 13.
The Spirit Days are as follows:
Monday- Pajama Day
Tuesday- Ugly Sweater Day
Wednesday- Pink Wednesday
Thursday- Middle School Attire Day
Friday-Red and White
Some students look forward to participating in spirit week.
“I know some people like spirit week. It’s something different going on in school, so I guess I like it too. Some days can get crazy though,” junior Marilyn Metz said.
On the other hand, there are other students who aren’t satisfied with the themes.
Junior Grace Park said ” There are always repetitive ideas and not many people participates– not even teachers anymore”.
